Howdy, I've been an editor at Wikipedia for over 14 years.
A little about me:
I served as chairman of the Oregon High Desert Grotto, a local Grotto from Bend, Oregon, for 5 years. Our Grotto is an affiliate of the National Speleological Society (NSS). This means I like to go caving! I survey and explore caves. I find new caves too. I've probably found over 200 new caves in the state of Oregon. I am the editor of Oregon Underground and have published 31 issues of the Grotto newsletter, and was the editor for three regional guidebooks. I was also contracted to author a bat management plan for the Oregon Department of State Lands for the Stevens Road Tract.
One of my personal projects is the Horse Lava Tube System, which starts in the Deschutes National Forest and runs through the east side of Bend, through Redmond, and beyond. It contains over 100 caves of varying sizes. My goal is to finish up the currently 150+ page bibliography on the system and release it within a few years.
I have also been a fan of the band Floater since late 1996. Back then, I started up Floater's first major fansite called Waiting on a Vision, and it was wildly successful, with over 150,000 hits in less than two years. That was a lot for the younger days of the internet, and for such a small band. Because of this, I attained more than a passing interest in Floater and remain a vigilant supporter to this day.
It's been a pleasure serving this community and worldwide service!
