DIAL.81 (Blair French) is an emcee turned Producer, Composer, and Visual Artist from Clawson, Michigan. Early projects include the Hip Hop groups Level Jumpers (with members The R.O.C. + SKRAPZ) and Formless Figures, solo act as F.R.EEZE, instrumental duo Cosmic Handshakes, and experimental groups The Interior Project (with Jamie Dado) and DarkWave (with members Dave Graw + Mark Penxa).
Recent works include the award winning documentary Detropia, scored by DIAL.81 and released on UHF Records late summer of 2012. His follow up and freshmen instrumental e.p. Luminous Stasis, released on M1-SESSIONS late fall of 2012, and featured Paul Randolph, A Setting Sun and Mark Szymanski.
DIAL.81 is a part of the art/music collective sUPERIOR bELLY, releasing "Boxcar Portal" in 2009, "SweatShopDeluXXXe" pg. 1 -3 in 2011, producing debut album BED by Beverly Fresh, and as well as multiple 7 inch records under The Spill Out Series. Also creator of Fat Finger Cosmic and member of M1-Sessions with owner Bobby Dolo.
