I am a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where I majored in International Affairs and Chinese. I participated in Model United Nations where I represented Malta, and in a club called the Student Worker Alliance Program where I taught free literacy lessons to workers at CU. I studied abroad three times to China and the two cities I know best are Nanjing and Xi'an. I have interned several times, once with the Chronicle of Philanthropy, once with Rowman & Littlefield, and then with 南京國際交流翻譯中心 (Nanjing International Business Talent Center) in Nanjing, China.
Interest-wise, I love Chinese history, especially modern and contemporary (my favorite event is the Taiping Rebellion) as well as mythology from around the world. Economics is also dreadfully exciting, like a series of money rivers that binds the whole world together. Japanese culture has also fascinated me from a young age and I have devoured books upon books about the archipelago.
