Leeds Futsal Club was formed in January 2010 replacing FC Barsa who had previously represented Leeds in the FA Futsal League. 2010 Will be the team's third season playing national league futsal but the first under the club's new name. The team will also be competing in the Leeds Futsal League the York Futsal League and the Scarborough League this year.
The club have been proud promoters of futsal coaching sessions in schools and the local community since 2006 and continue to be ambassadors for the sport in the Yorkshire area.
The first team squad comprises of a wide range of nationalities and includes a number of former FC Barsa players.
