My Userboxes!
|
Who is Mfreud? I was a an undergraduate university student hovering somewhere between 3rd and 4th year when I got involved with wikipedia in 2008. I have since graduated from UBC with an International Relations major and Latin American Studies minor. A university class introduced me to writing and editing on wikipedia and also showed me how to sign up for my first blog page-thing, all part of a university class "Latin American Literature in Translation" which I was a part of.
My spelling is terrible, but I am trying. The wonderful FA-team has taken myself and the other two classmates working on El Senor Presidente by the hand, fixing spelling mistakes, fixing "MoS" issues and everything else to help us create a truley impressive page. I didn't actually realize how long and comprehensive it is until I looked back over the page as a whole instead of focusing on a particular sentence or phrase that needs reworking. I honestly cannot believe that this page did not even exist before this class started!
I am still a beginner with all this editing stuff but my heart is in the right place and I am willing to work at it. Also exciting, I just have figured out how to create a userbox! The little things in life are so exciting!
Below are some awards that the wonderful editors working with me have presented me with. They are too generous but here they are. I really appreciate all of their support over the last few months:

For so quickly learning how Wikipedia works, contributing so much wonderful content that will enrich the world, so eagerly participating in our community, and introducing me to a fascinating novel (!), I bestow this award upon you. Awadewit (talk) 15:57, 2 April 2008 (UTC) |
