In the next six months at PAMM, I aim to contribute to Wiki projects by expanding the quality of existing articles and creating new ones; adding images to artists’ biographies; incorporating citations and trustworthy sources; structuring data; and leading public workshops having the Pérez Art Museum Miami collections and temporary exhibitions on Latin American and Latinx, Caribbean and Caribbean Diaspora, African Diaspora art as focal points.
In the past three years, I collaborated with several cultural institutions as an organizer and co-organizer of Art+Feminism Edit-a-thons across Brazil, the United States, and Portugal. In 2023, I was invited to serve on the WikiWomenCamp 2023 [1] scholarship committee, and I am also a member of the user group WikiMulheres+ (PT).[2]
Furthermore, in 2022 I was invited as a guest speaker to share about my experience as an event organizer at the
[3]. In 2021 I participated as a guest panelist in the panel Wikipedia & Diversity, which took place during the festivities of
20 years of Lusophone Wikipedia. In 2020, I delivered a virtual talk on gender studies and the internet in collaboration with Asia Art Archive in America, New York and Hong Kong.
