Studio Killers Studio Killers is a "virtual band" comprising of fictional characters Cherry, Goldie Foxx, Dyna Minx, and general manager Bipolar Bear. The band has produced one single, "Ode to the Bouncer", since their debut in early 2011. With generally positive feedback, they plan on making another song, which they call "All About You". Generally focused in Europe, the band states to reside in "Our Lair in East London".
Ode to The Bouncer
"Ode to the Bouncer" is the single the band released in early 2011, and it had generally positive feedback.
The songand music video are about a conflict between a woman, wanting to get into a club, and a bouncer, who decides to not let her in. Under these conditions, Cherry, the woman, decides to seduce the bouncer into letting her in. After some initial contact, the bouncer has his mask ripped off, revealing a completely skeletal face. Not seeming phased, Cherry is later shown in the video sitting next to the bouncer, in a worn-out state, against the walls of the club. Looking up, Cherry sees a "window to the Lady's room" and quickly climbs in, finally able to get into the club.
The video is also very visually artistic as well, seemlessly blending 3-D art with many types of 2-D art. Cherry is the only one viewed in 3-D, completely surrounded by a 2-D world. Even the other band members, Goldie Foxx and Dyna Mink, are pictured as almost still 2-D images.
