The Execution Protocol is the title of a 1992 documentary film produced by Worldview Pictures and West End Films, and directed by Stephen Trombley. It explores the situation of three men on Missouri's death row, and the execution team that will put them to death. Trombley also published a book of the same title in 1992, published in USA by Crown and in the UK by Century. The Execution Protocol is the first film in a trilogy about death row inmate A. J. Bannister that includes Raising Hell: The Life of A. J. Bannister (1995) and a death in the family (1999).
