Scientist, Innovator, Futurist, Author and Entrepreneur, Dr. Jonas Moses, is the Founder and CSO of notopos Corporation (dba notopos univers)[1]. Dr. Moses is also the Founder and Executive Producer of On the Edge Productions LLC and Director/Host of the television series, “On the Edge.”[2] He has been called “a visionary innovator, who’s assumed a leadership role” in the development of novel medical, scientific and technological devices, therapeutics, diagnostics, processes and procedures.[3]
Dr. Moses began his professional career working in the Life Sciences, Environmental Engineering and clinical Medicine and has been involved in diverse medical-, scientific- and technology-related industries. He has consulted with scientists, physicians, governmental leaders, policy-makers, industry professionals and academes, throughout the United States, Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and Australia. Dr. Moses has spoken on a broad spectrum of Innovation, Technology and Public Policy subjects, before diverse professional audiences across the United States. He has also been interviewed on several syndicated radio talk shows – including his recent appearance on “The Gary Null Show” (broadcast over National Public Radio)[4] and the syndicated “Robert Scott Bell Show”[5] – on themes such as “Public Health Policy and Infectious Diseases.”
By training and education, Dr. Moses is a Biomedical Engineer (Ph.D. in Cell and Tissue Engineering), having previously trained in surgery and disease of the eye - (Ophthalmology) during a several-year stint in the United States Army. He received his PhD from the University of Illinois-Chicago, predicated upon his work as a cancer researcher and his subsequent dissertation entitled “Platelets, Cytoplasts and Extra Cellular Matrix in the Bio-Engineering of a 3-Dimensional, In Vitro Tumor Model.”[6] While working on his doctorate, he was also a prolific research scientist, engaged in the cell and developmental biology of cancer. During his tenure at the University of Illinois, Dr. Moses, along with colleagues, concepted and/or developed several patent-worthy innovations.[7]
Although the majority of his background is based in the Sciences, Medicine and Technology, Dr. Moses possesses a substantial fund of corporate knowledge and experience, as he spent several years developing his real-world business skills in the disciplines of strategic planning, organizational development, change management and corporate visioning - having been a consultant to and/or the Founder or Co-Founder of multiple successful ventures.
