I was the Director of Community Advocacy for the Wikimedia Foundation. In my volunteer capacity, I can usually be found on en:Wikipedia or meta, where I am an elected administrator. I previously was, by virtue of my job, a bureaucrat on the Wikimedia Strategic Planning wiki. I was a member of the election committee for the Board of Trustees in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and the staff liaison to the committee for 2011 and 2013 elections. I also sat on the first permanent standing election committee, for 2016. On IRC, my username is usually Philippe. Follow me on Twitter! My username is philippe_in_sf there, or on reddit I am u/AchievementUnlockd. On en:Wikipedia, I am an administrator (and very much appreciate the support that the community showed in my RfA), a former Checkuser and oversighter, and a former member of the OTRS team. If you run across an OTRS edit of mine, I request that you contact me before reverting or changing it - there may be privacy concerns involved or other reasons that the edit needs to stay as it is, but I'm happy to talk to you about it (without divulging any confidential information) if you have a question. Unrelated to my on-wiki stuff, the important thing to know, I suppose, is that I'm in San Francisco, California and I am the Vice-President of Community for Stack Exchange. I was formerly Director of Community at reddit and Atlassian, and was the community strategist at VIPKid. I have two favorite mottos, which I have stolen from others and have printed on various things: A domino factum est istud et mirabile in oculis nostris. (from Elizabeth I) and Plus est en vous (from various sources in Bourgundy).
