Formerly at the University of Kentucky, now an independent scholar living in Auckland, New Zealand. Now working on the origin years of the New Zealand branch of the World Woman's Christian Temperance Union and exploring the impact in New Zealand of the journey of Mary Greenleaf Clement Leavitt.
Still working on the development of open educational resources for local communities to study the history of Kentucky women. (Will I ever finish?) See OER projects at Kentucky Women in the Long Civil Rights Era http://www.kywcrh.org and Kentucky Woman Suffrage Project https://networks.h-net.org/kywomansuffrage.

Currently thinking about how to introduce various underserved populations to using open educational resources like Wikipedia and Wikimedia - and encouraging them to participate in Wikipedia projects as an empowerment tool. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Also interested in open educational resources for basic education and training in issues of peace and justice. See more on this at the Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice (CKCPJ) website.
