Welcome to RyanCross' adoption center. This page and it's related pages are used to help mentor RyanCross' adoptees and gain more experience through discussion, questions, suggested tasks, and many other such ideals that may help adoptees learn more about Wikipedia, and being a Wikipedian. It is up to adoptees on what parts of Wikipedia they want to contribute to and take part in. RyanCross, the adopter, will be mentoring adoptees the general items all Wikipedians should know about, and will do also mentor adoptees on specific objects the adoptee would particularly would like to participate in or learn significantly more about.
However, I will not take responsibility for the adoptee's edits. I will guide them, make suggestions, etc., so they can improve as a Wikipedian. However, the final call on the edits they make will always be the adoptee's choice. I will happily graduate adoptees when I think you have learned as much as I can teach them. Then, they may be free to do whatever they would like to improve Wikipedia themselves with the knowledge I have taught them, and be an experienced Wikipedian. Graduated adoptees are always welcome to continue to ask me questions, and stay in contact once they have graduated.
If you are interested me adopting and mentoring you, please ask on my talk page. Then, I will do a short review of you before I decide to adopt. If I do adopt a you, you will be put under the "Current adoptees" list below, and then I will start a subpage where most of the mentoring will take place. If I don't adopt you, and you would still like to be adopted, I can always find another adopter to mentor you.
