enskilment new article content ...
Enskilment is a concept from cultural anthropology which means the process whereby a person acquires skills. The term is similar in its construction to the originally anthropological term 'enculturation' (en- 'in' + skill 'to be able to do' + -ment 'a process') which is now an established term in regular usage. The term enskilment emphasizes bodily learning versus mentalistic knowledge.
