It is my opinion that on Wikipedia, while good-faith is always to be assumed, that in certain cases it is not. In the instance of someone questioning my good faith, I would ask them to refer to my other edits and my repeated queries on article and user talk pages, and to this library of books which I own and refer to personally. I've been buying books like other people buy magazines (and I have a fair few of those also) since the age of ten - nearly fifteen years now. Without exception I have read every book on this list, and although I may disagree with the scholarship and conclusions of some of them, I wholeheartedly recommend them all.
God, this sounds pompous, doesn't it? At any rate, since I stopped updating this my library has increased by hundreds of volumes and tens of thousands of photos of primary sources at archives. —Simon Harley (Talk | Library). 16:47, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
