I am currently interested in early Australian History especially that which is lost or in my region, Sydney, Australia. I used The Famous Pie Shop and The Ettamogah Pub as learning tools to re-aquaint myself with computer editing after leaving the television industry in the year 2000.
With the accidental discovery of The Lapstone Train Tunnel I produced my first factual documentary and made it public on YouTube.
On a recent trip to the Blue Mountains, not far from my current abode, I realised a hotel I visited in the 1970's was no longer there as a fire in 1975 had destroyed it completely. I also found that the Internet contained very little about this hotel so I set about obtaining its early history. I chose Wikipedia to present my findings.
Who knows what I will find next.
“Bringing lost Early Australian History to the Internet seems a worthy thing to do."
