Majid Fathali Beygi was born on April 12, 1967 in Rey – a historic city. His love toward painting and nature propelled him into the world of Art. He passed his training process in some fine art institutions such as the art house, and he also spent two years in Fine Art College in the university of Tehran. Since 1985 he started to paint professionally.
Getting familiar with Morteza Katouzian the great painting master in 1989 was a turning point that reshaped his artistic growth and his development process continued beside him.
Majid Fathali Beygi founded his atelier in 1992 and since then he started teaching painting academically.
Another part in his activities was a widespread study on the world`s well known painters` works in museums and making precise and identical copies out of them. These activities were between 1988 and 2002. In addition to the technical experiences and forming method of the works, he achieved a vast understanding in abstruse aspects of some old and timeworn works of art. That`s how he started to like restoration. Making decision to learn restoration, he dedicated some time on reviving and curing destroyed works beside teaching and painting as his most important artistic career. Yet he has repaired many paintings done both by artist inside Iran and outside considering loyalty in preserving their originality.
He was honored with an award on the International day of Museum and the week of Cultural Heritage.
A collection of his works was published in 2008 and also he had works published in several group collections.
