Tony Ramey is an established American country songwriter from West Virginia. He has had cuts by Craig Morgan, Trent Tomlinson, Bucky Covington, John Michael Montgomery, Doug Stone, The Stephens Sisters, Johnny Bush, Kevin Denny, Clay Walker, George Strait, and many other artists out of Nashville. He has three albums of his own entitled "Places" "Is It Worth My Broken Heart" and "Tony Ramey."
Career
Tony was discovered by the Head of A&R at Polygram Records. He then moved to Nashville and wrote his first hit for John Michael Montgomery's album Leave A Mark. Tony currently has an office on Music Row with Cherry Lane Music/BMG Nashville. He also contracts out to sing for other writers on the row who need a voice to complete their demon recordings, and, is an English Professor and aspiring doctoral student of Anglo-Saxon Literature at Middle Tennessee State University.
