Steven A. (Steve) Kauffman is is an American sports agent, attorney, and certified public accountant who specializes in the representation of top executives in the sport of basketball.[1] He operates his firm, Kauffman Sports Management Group out of offices in Malibu, California.[2] After over 30 years as an agent for NBA players that included Ben Wallace, Dominique Wilkins,[3] Doc Rivers,[4] Eric Snow,[5] and dozens of others,[6] Kauffman transitioned his business to the representation of NBA general managers and coaches in 2008.[7] Counted among his present clients are NBA executives Donnie Walsh and Mark Warkentien[8] as well as coaches Paul Westphal[9] Monty Williams, and Jack Sikma.[10] In February 2009, Kauffman formed an alliance with NextLevel Sports to pursue business opportunities in the field of college basketball."[11] Kauffman resides in Malibu, California with his wife; he has two sons, Matt and Jake, and one daughter, Casson.
