I'm Tristan Surtel, a Dutch Wikipedia user writing articles for both the English and Dutch Wikipedias. I am a supply chain specialist in everyday life and a recent econometrics and operations research graduate (2021) from Tilburg University.
On Wikipedia, my focus lies on Dutch politics, but I have also contributed to pages about the United States (Nevada and New York City in particular), architecture/skyscrapers, cars, businesses, and places that I have lived in or traveled to. Articles I have authored include Judy Woodruff, Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, Seattle, and One World Trade Center, a featured article for which I received the second prize during the 2014 writing contest. I was also involved in the process of changing the main page of the Dutch Wikipedia. The first article I have written (or actually translated) is Lijst van effectenbeurzen ("List of stock exchanges") on the Dutch Wikipedia in February 2012. Since then, I have significantly contributed to almost 100 articles on the English Wikipedia, while that number is closer to 1,000 on the Dutch version. My number of edits is approximately equal to 30,000. Furthermore, I'm active on Wikimedia Commons, where I've uploaded about 1,500 files.
My second account is called "Tristans". If you would like to discuss something, you could post a message on my talk page.
