I am an active volunteer editor since December 2006, as well as an avid student of History, Anthropology and Language. My contributions around here have covered a wide range of topics, but often focus on heraldry, medieval history, and some of the places I have been. I enjoy traveling and have visited 45 U.S. states, as well as Japan, Korea, Mexico, Canada, Iceland, Sweden, and (briefly) Finland.

I am also a member of the SCA (since A.S. XXX), where I participate in Arts and Sciences events and armored combat, and I study Heraldry, Tafl games, and other historical board games. I enjoy listening to a broad range of music, especially Opeth, Amon Amarth, Sigur Rós, Nine Inch Nails, and too many others to list here.
