My home is in German-speaking Wikipedia

I am a retired scientist (psychology@university), living in Bern Switzerland, something like a private scholar.

The Wikipedia-Project KI (AI) and Wikipedia is a focal point. It will become increasingly important for the future of Wikipedia. How do we preserve safe knowledge without AI hallucinations? And how do we preserve our Wikipedia hobby in case AI becomes better than us?

I also enjoy writing biographies and Serendipity is a hot topic - it's also a way of life (active luck). The German article seems to be more accurate than the English one.

I've been on Wikipedia as a "human being" since 2007. It was interesting and instructive to start again and again with a new nickname and leave the old one behind. Serendipity also helps us to see the opportunity for good in everything - even in disputes. Unfortunately, I have only just now discovered this.

The English Wikipedia has a lot to teach us. People don't argue less, they just argue differently than in the German Wikipedia. People are a little more pragmatic here.
