Autoassessment process
The bot looks for a {{stub}} template on the article or inherits the rating from other WikiProject banners.
For some projects, a stub rating is given for articles under a particular byte length (typically below 2500 bytes).
Certain projects also request the importance rating to be set by a category key (example).
Human editors should check the ratings for accuracy and remove the following bot advisories -
|auto=yes
|auto=inherit
|auto=length
|autoi=yes
The table below indicates how the bot normally makes a decision. Individual WikiProjects may request higher or lower levels of confidence.
only one rating available | two or more available | auto-stub/inherit conflict | notes | |
---|---|---|---|---|
default | if only a single rating is available | if they all agree | do not assess | CHI · TOR · BIO · &c. |
liberal | if only a single rating is available | most frequent (highest when tied) | SONGS | |
conservative | do not assess | if they all agree | do not assess | IND |
Any errors in the auto-assessment should be reported directly to my talk page. –xenotalk
