Hello, I am Yinglong999. I joined Wikipedia on April 22, 2020, but began seriously editing from about November of that year.

I joined due to the lack of information, quality, and uniformity across wushu articles. After a number of edits in late November and early December including a major contribution to the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament, my first published articles in late 2020 were the United States of America Wushu Kungfu Federation, the 2023 World Wushu Championships (originally scheduled for 2021), and Wushu at the 2022 World Games.

From January to September 2021, I wrote numerous articles on wushu and updated many preexisting articles. Notable competition creations include the missing 1995 World Wushu Championships, the List of international wushu competitions, the Taolu World Cup, the International Invitational Wushu Championships, the 2014 Nanjing Youth Wushu Tournament, and many others. Notable athlete creations include Edgar Xavier Marvelo, Geng Xiaoling, Zhao Qingjian, Sun Peiyuan, Wong Weng Son, Wu Zhaohua, Nguyễn Thúy Hiền, Lai Xiaoxiao, Zhao Changjun, and many others. My first Did-You-Know submission was Gao Jiamin in May 2021. My most significant contributions include the World Wushu Championships, Yuan Wenqing, Dương Thúy Vi, Jayden Yuan, and Lindswell Kwok. Since September 2021, I have become busier and have been editing less.

After a busy 2023 for competitive wushu (I attended the 16th WWC in-person), my future work on Wikipedia is on pause. I have begun to transition more to uploading videos on my YouTube channel which aims to document competitive wushu history.
