Hi, I agree with all but one edit you made on the RAID page and that is the use of the term "string" instead of block. I've never heard anyone use the term 'string' in this context. Strings are generally of arbitrary length, while disks must be written in fixed size sectors. Usually a continguous chunk of these sectors is called a block (although that term is often overloaded). Yet I think it is the de facto standard to use the term 'block' in the context of the article. TechPurism 03:37, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
