Not a problem. It is better, though, to get someone else to do edits that involve your personal research. I did look over the one article at greater depth, and felt that at least your prose and ability to communicate was superior to what was there, however, because of the strong presence of spammers on Wikipedia, I felt, as I explained in the edit, that it was necessary to just revert it.
