I would like to use the same infobox in two different wikipedia articles (in article 1 as the main infobox, in article 2 as a subsection infobox). Do I have to write the same code twice? make any updations twice, in both locations? Or can I make a common infobox and link it to both the articles? Dg432 (talk) 07:18, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. If you would like to use the same infobox in multiple places and not have to write everything twice, you can prefill the infobox as a template and then transclude it to the places you want to use it at. See, for example, Template:LHC, which is used on 9 articles. If you want to make the infobox easier to edit, you can use something like {{navbar}} to provide an "edit" link, if the infobox you're using doesn't already provide it.Alpha3031 (tc) 08:33, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
