Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 45.41.168.32. I was told the IP address belongs to web2objects but I do not understand what that means or how to remedy it. I am also a bit confused as the block notice said "45.41.128.0/17" is blocked, but my IP address is 45.41.168.32. I am not using proxy/vpn so cannot really diable it. I am simply connected to internet from home using a regular home use connection with no issues previously. Help! Milton Chan (talk) 07:43, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like this is handled. Let me know if you run into more trouble. SQLQuery me! 02:59, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MiltonC, what's the name of your ISP? SQLQuery me! 20:08, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi SQL, It is a local ISP called FibreStream (https://www.fibrestream.ca/)Milton Chan (talk) 21:16, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds about right to me. ST47 - would you mind taking a look at this rangeblock please? SQLQuery me! 22:12, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
SQL The intended target was Web2Objects LLC, AS22400, which is full of VPN exits. I guess this ISP has a small chunk of IP space in the middle of their range. I'll lift the rangeblock and re-apply it correctly. ST47 (talk) 01:32, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
SQL & ST47, thank you both! Milton Chan (talk) 14:54, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
