Velvet Cacoon is a black metal hoax band from Portland, Oregon, United States.[1][2] Josh, the founder of Velvet Cacoon, has described the band as a "total fraud".[3] The band is responsible for promoting a number of hoaxes and plagiarizing songs from other bands.[2]
