Vinci (English: /ˈvɪni/ VIN-chee, Italian: [ˈvintʃi])[3] is a comune of the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany.[4] The birthplace of Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci lies just outside the town.
