Vygonichsky District (Russian: Вы́гоничский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,028 square kilometers (397 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Vygonichi.[1] Population: 17,117 (2021 Census);[8] 20,105 (2010 Census);[3] 22,770 (2002 Census);[9] 23,058 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Vygonichi accounts for 27.2% of the district's total population.[8]
