Owned by Block Communications, it is a sister station to low-powered, Class A dual ABC/CBS affiliate WOHL-CD (channel 35). The two stations share studios on Rice Avenue northwest of downtown; WLIO's transmitter is located on Saint Clair Avenue north of downtown.
