WMTX (100.7 FM) is a commercial radio station in Tampa, Florida, known as "Mix 100.7". It has an adult contemporary radio format, switching to Christmas music for much of November and December. It is owned by iHeartMedia, with its studios and offices on Gandy Boulevard in Tampa.[2] WMTX serves as the primary Emergency Alert System station for the Tampa Bay area.
WMTX has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, its transmitter site is off Rhodine Road in Riverview.[3] WMTX broadcasts using HD Radio technology; its HD-2 digital subchannel airs a simulcast of WHNZ's talk/business format, while their HD-3 subchannel carrie "Retro," a Bilingual classic hits format.
