WYND (1310 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian radio format. Licensed to DeLand, Florida, the station serves the Daytona Beach metropolitan area. The station is owned by Clarence and Andrea Williams, through licensee Proclaim Media Group, LLC.[2]
By day, WYND is powered at 10,400 watts non-directional. But to protect other stations on 1310 AM from interference, at night it greatly reduces power to 115 watts. The transmitter is co-located with the radio studios on East Taylor Road, near U.S. Route 17 in DeLand.[3] Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator W241CZ at 96.1 MHz in DeLand.[4]
