On the evening of 24 December 2022, one person was killed and five others injured in a mass shooting at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey, Merseyside, England.[1] The perpetrator, 22-year-old Connor Chapman, was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder; it is not believed that the victim was targeted.
