Wartime Romance (Russian: Военно-полевой роман, romanized: Voenno-polevoy roman) is a 1983 Soviet film directed by Pyotr Todorovsky. It tells the story of a soldier and a nurse separated by World War II and briefly reunited in 1950.[1] The film received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 57th Academy Awards,[2] being the last Soviet film to be nominated for this award.
