Wayne Eugene Mulligan (born May 5, 1947) is a former professional American football player who played center for seven seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Jets.[1]

Mulligan played high school football at Calvert Hall where he helped lead them to a Baltimore Catholic League title in 1964. He went to college at Clemson where he was the starting center from 1966-1968 and helped the Tigers to consecutive ACC Championships in 1966-1967.[2]
