West Markham or Markham Clinton[1] is a village and civil parish 23 miles (37 km) north east of Nottingham,[2] in the Bassetlaw district, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. In the 2011 census, the parish had a population of 170,[3] and this increased marginally to 175 residents at the 2021 census.[4] The parish touches Bevercotes, West Drayton, East Markham, Bothamsall, Walesby and Tuxford.[5] The A1 previously went through the village but its now been bypassed.[1]
