West Mountain is a census-designated place (CDP) in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the CDP population was 1,186.[3] The town is at the base of West Mountain (site of the West Mountain Observatory) and bears its name.
