The result was keep. The snowball clause discusses the chance of a particular discussion ending with a particular consensus. Reading through the !votes, weighing some and discarding others appropriately based on their relevance to Wikipedia policies, I find a clear consensus that the article should, at least, not be deleted, and am therefore applying the clause and closing the discussion as mentioned. A number of the arguments – with differing bolded votes – indicate a desire for the article's focus to be switched from the squirrel itself to the event of its death. This should be considered on the talk page and through a requested move, rather than proposed deletion. Additionally, as is often the case with rapidly evolving articles, the notability will likely crystallise once the sensation has worn down. Another discussion regarding the validity of the article can be opened then, if so desired. DatGuyTalkContribs 12:00, 4 November 2024 (UTC) DatGuyTalkContribs 12:00, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
