On December 9, 2016 Brugherio is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the city's foundation
In view of this anniversary, the City Council has launched a project to
Promote awareness of the territory of Brugherio and its history
Increasing the visibility of its architectural heritage to the local community, to visitors and to tourists
Create a digital archive, using the materials already stored in the history section of the local public library and mobilizing citizens to donate their information
Improve or create Wikipedia articles about the city, its history, monuments and celebrities
Enrich Wikimedia Commons with photographs of the area around the city.
