On 21–22 September 2024, the New Zealand Women in Architecture WikiProject and Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand are collaborating on an edit-a-thon focusing on improving content on New Zealand women in architecture.
We’re pleased to bring back the Walking Tour and Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for September 2024. The two-part event will be held on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September 2024.
The walking tour on Saturday will take you to three locations around Wynyard Quarter. The aim of the tour is for attendees to take photos, and upload them to WikiCommons to contribute to the online database!
The edit-a-thon will be held at Auckland War Memorial Museum in the Learning Labs from 10:30am on Sunday. An introductory tutorial will be held at 10:30am for new editors. Please bring your own device for both events, lunch will be provided.
