As part of Wikipedia Loves Libraries, George Washington University and Wikimedia DC present two editathon events in two very special libraries held by GWU.
The first (October 20) is the Global Resources Center, a major multi-lingual research collection in Washington, DC devoted exclusively to the study of global issues and international affairs.
The second (October 27) is the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Labor History Research Center. The Labor History Research Center has a rich set of secondary as well as primary resources on the history of organized labor in the United States.
These editathons will both comprise of a new editor training section in the morning and an editathon in the afternoon. If you already know how to edit and want to get straight to business, you can do that, too! If you would like to volunteer to help teach please email an organizer! Also, please don't forget to bring a photo id so you can get into the library!
