I believe that knowledge should be free, open and accessible to all and technology and language should not be a barrier. Wikipedia SWASTHA gives me the platform to share healthcare information for free with the world. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any feedback about the project
My work in the free knowledge world is focused on getting knowledge freely available in all Indian languages, especially Hindi. I believe that the internet should be equally useful for speakers of all languages. The idea of SWASTHA is to provide a platform to make vital information about healthcare available freely and for cross-language interaction on Wikipedia. Feel free to contact me for more information and feedback.
I am a passionate Wikipedian. I am one of the earliest editors of Kannada Wikipedia. I am active in Kannada Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikiquote and Wikisource. I am also active in Tulu Wikipedia and the just now started Tulu Wiktionary in incubation.
I agree that if you use Facebook, Instagram or Twitter hundreds of times a day and post something in it, then you should spend some time on Wikipedia as well. Because Wikipedia is a repository of knowledge that needs your contribution. Mostly I work on Hindi Wikipedia and Wikidata and now there is a chance to do something in the SWASTHA project as well.
I love my language and I want all my language lovers to not be dependent on English to learn anything new. My aim is to convert entire English Wikipedia into Urdu, though it's funny but not impossible as far as I am alive. for me,Wikipedia is a platform to provide free knowledge and information on a very basic, clear and clean page that everyone could read easily.
I am fascinated with Open Source and its power to impact users of the Internet. Wikipedia, being the largest Open Knowledge Project has the potential to be a changemaker in the Digital Age. India is home to a vast number of Internet users who aren't English-literate or have only a limited understanding of the language. Hence I believe the responsibility of increasing and improving the scope, coverage and access to information in Indic languages for the millions of non-English speaking internet users in this country falls on the shoulders of multilingual, english-speaking indians such as myself. I was particularly attracted to Swastha because of the positive impact it can have on providing important information regarding health and wellness for the people in this subcontinent in their native languages. Feel free to drop me an email anytime, if you want to get in touch with me or would like to hear more about Project SWASTHA from me.

SWASTHA speaks about healthcare, and i being the part of health industry truly believe that the most common issue today is human health. Starting from the most common one i.e. Sanitization for women in their menstruation to the most spoken topic of today, "pandemic Covid-19".Human health is compromised due to lack of knowledge.
