Series templates are boxes in the Template namespace which list articles which are related in one way or another.
An example of a Series template is the History of box, which lists articles for different periods or events of a country's history.
These boxes should be inserted in the articles that are listed in the box, and placed at the top of the article (if possible), and aligned to the right side of the page, like Template:History of China. It is also possible to create navigational boxes to fit at the bottom of the page, like Template:The Beatles.
If the name of the event or period listed in the box contains the name of the country or topic, or its adjective form, it is advisable to remove it or rephrase the visible link, ie.: [[Russian Revolution of 1905|Revolution of 1905]].
