The Australian 5000 Challenge
Improve/create any article related to Australia whenever you feel like it!
 An ambitious challenge to aim for long term with 5000 article improvements or creations for Australia as part of the wider Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK and The 10,000 Challenge (Africa). The idea is not to document every minor edit or improvement, but to create a momentum by displaying the diversity of content being improved or created for each state and make it more visible, and in turn attempt to inspire and motivate people to work on areas they might not normally work on or reinforce existing national WikiProject efforts to improve content. With that in place, eventually there might be some contests in the format of Wales's Awaken the Dragon, The Africa Destubathon or state contests with prizes. |
