Welcome to the Women's Football / Soccer Task Force, a joint initiative of WikiProject Women's sport and WikiProject Football. This task force focuses on articles related to women's football / soccer including:

• Women's players, clubs, managers, leagues and competitions, seasons and associated articles
• Women's football / soccer national teams
• International women's football / soccer competitions including tournaments and matches

Our main goals are to:

• ensure women's football / soccer-related articles are represented on Wikipedia by creating and editing related articles
• establish and organise standards for women's football / soccer-related articles resulting in well-written articles
• improve the visibility of articles related to women's football / soccer by nominating them for DYK placement on the Wikipedia homepage, or improving them to good or featured status
