Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

- Look, there must be hundreds of "citation needed" signs all over the place which refer to stuff clearly stated in the Talmud(Gemora). Can't anyone see if they can sort them all out??? i'm new here so i don't know if there's a specific list, nut they pop up all over the place - for instance, there's no source for the messiah cited! NOTE: As far as the issur of disseminating the talmud is concerned (which is a legitimate concern for orthodox jews) as far as i know it is the 'learning' of talmud that is ossur, not the teaching of facts.--79.177.58.51 (talk) 13:30, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Allegations for his Jewishness are not well sourced and there is a stormy discussion on the aritcle's talk page whether to refer to his alleged Jewish background in the aritcle body. It was previously included in special ethnicity entry in the infobox and in the lead and early life paragraph.--Gilisa (talk) 10:25, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Book of Ezekiel - Why is there no discussion of some of the most famous and perplexing passages in the entire Hebrew Bible? Ezekiel complained about people burning their children to death. "And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your harlotries so small a matter that you slaughtered my children and delivered them up as an offering by fire to them?" (Ezek. 16:20-21) The Book of Ezekiel then states that God purposely gave bad laws which discouraged life and, by some interpretations, these laws led the people to believe that they should offer gifts of their first born by fire. This contradicts the text of the Torah as we know it, and all of Jewish and Christian interpretation of it. Nonetheless, Ezekiel talks about this as a point of view apparently accepted as truthful by at least some major segment of the population. See the discussion page for my start on this.
- There are a number of red links at Wikipedia:WikiProject Judaism/Encyclopedic articles, for which apparently there is no article in WP to match a topic in The New Encyclopedia of Judaism (New York University Press, 2002); also, when articles do exist, they may be lacking in Jewish content.

- List of minor Old Testament figures, A–K and L–Z is heavily Christian-centric; needs to be improved and expanded, with the Hebrew spelling for each figure.
- All of the individual articles on tractates in the Talmud, such as Gittin and Ketubot (tractate) need to be seriously improved and expanded.
- Jewish mythology - needs to be rewritten to be inline with our other mythology articles.
- Three Oaths - needs a serious cleanup, and should be rewritten with reliable sources, avoiding primary sources and original research (which are currently the main sources used in the article, leading to disagreement in interpretation).
- Square Hebrew: this looks to be in serious need of cleanup and referencing.
- Rebbe#Distinctions between Rebbe and Rav: Extra and missing words and punctuation make the meaning of the section unclear.
- Expand : Yom Ha'atzmaut - quite short for an article of such importance
