• September 1, 1992 - Ric Flair defeated Randy Savage for the WWF Heavyweight Championship.
• September 2, 2002 - Eric Bischoff created the World Heavyweight Championship and awarded it to Triple H.
• September 6, 2000 - Rob Conway defeated Nick Dinsmore for the Ohio Valley Heavyweight Championship.
• September 9, 1993 - Shane Douglas won the ECW Heavyweight title by forfeit from Tito Santana.
• September 10, 1997 - Fritz Von Erich died of cancer at age 68.
• September 12, 1991 - Chris Von Erich died in a suicide shooting at 21.
• September 12, 1999 - Sting defeated Hulk Hogan to win the WCW Heavyweight Championship.
• September 14, 1999 - Vince McMahon defeated Triple H for the WWF Heavyweight title.

• We have now reached our goal of getting the number of Stub-Class articles below 600. The current count is 586. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.

• Mick Foley's WWE contract expired on September 1, and he has signed a short-term deal with TNA.

  • Matt Hardy won the ECW Championship in a Championship scramble match.
  • Chris Jericho won the World Heavyweight Championship, in a Championship scramble match also.
  • Afa Anoa'i, Jr. made his debut as "Manu".
• Nathan Jones was injured in Thailand, after he was hit by a truck. Jones had recently signed a deal with TNA, but will now be out for at least 3 months.

• The Collaboration of the Week has recently been revamped, and we will now have 6 collaborations at a time. The current collaborations will stand until they reach a certain goal, e.g. Good article status.
