Oregon Ducks, along with the University of Oregon’s Center for the Study of Women in Society and the Fembot Collective is launching a project to write women into Wikipedia! This year’s national Women's History Month theme is: “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives," and provides an opportunity for all of us to weave women’s stories, individually and collectively, into the essential fabric of our nation’s history. In keeping with that theme, the University of Oregon will be launching its very own Wiki-Edit project: UO Weaving Women Into Wikipedia. We'll be collaborating to improve content and contribute to the world of free knowledge to account for the invisibility or the lack of representation of sexual and gender minorities on Wikipedia.
