πSubject Matter: American Robin (bird) Target Noun: "Ringed-Neck" Robin
I apologize if this is posted in the incorrect place; I have looked for twenty minutes trying to find a way to discuss the American Robin). I have a very serious question regarding the American Robin.
I have never seen a Robin as I did approximately one week ago. This Robin had a ring arounnd its' neck. A friend told me they had never seen such a Robin before either and that they'd contact the Autobon (SP?) Society. They gave an answer that I was unable to believe...stating that such isn't all that uncommon, etc. I'm 47 years old and have llived in Northeast Ohio my entire life; I know very well it is EXTREMELY UNCOMMON, like a once-in-47-yrs event.
Anyone have knowledge of the "Ringed-Neck" Robin? ...had the inherint, internal soul-moment-realization of the bird being of something noble, rare and of great "pecking" order. There; how's that for my idea of the observation event of the
"RINGED-Neck Robin"!!
